I write as your neighbor, friend and fellow Alabamian to encourage you to vote for Steve Marshall for attorney general.

Rarely in Alabama does a candidate for statewide office stand out both in qualifications and character the way Marshall does. Ignore the campaign ads and political rhetoric. There is not a candidate on the ballot more deserving, qualified or experienced to serve as Alabama’s chief law enforcement officer.

Having served as district attorney in Marshall County for 15 years, Marshall has a record that is unmatched. He has successfully prosecuted drug traffickers and violent criminals, while improving the lives of countless victims. His leadership reflects a comprehensive, thoughtful approach to criminal justice rarely seen by public officials.

Most important, he is a humble leader who is passionate about making Alabama safer and better for all of us. Marshall is grounded and driven by his strong Christian faith, and he wastes no opportunity to share it with others. I am confident he views each day in office as a call to serve, and I have no doubt he will continue seizing that opportunity when we elect him to a new term.
